Kabob Garden - Afghan Kitchen and Banquet Hall Reviews
We recently hosted an event at Kabob Garden and I can’t say enough about the fantastic experience we had. The service was exceptional—I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the wonderful girl who assisted us, but she was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the night, making sure everything ran smoothly. Bernard, the manager, was also amazing—he went above and beyond to ensure our event was a success. Of course, the food was as delicious as always. I highly recommend both their event space and catering services for anyone planning a future event.
I keep going back to this restaurant with family and friends for several reasons. Here are two: 1. Food is the best, I wasn't disappointed ever. 2. Service is one of the best in industry, they are courteous, friendly and even try to save you money if you seek suggestions when you decide your dishes. Highly recommended.
Concerned for a second the lamb shank was missing but it was buried under the rice but still thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The meat was tender & juicy and the rice was full of flavor.
Incredibly delicious food! Beautiful interior Great menu selection Fair price The staff could be a little more courteous, especially for Canada. Everyone else in Calgary made me feel welcome and they were courteous/polite...not so much here at Kabob Garden. But the food was worth a second visit!
Took my colleague here for dinner. Food and experience are phenomenal! Masha Allah ! One of the best dine-in experiences in my 15 years in Canada. Customer care was excellent!
Great food and service. I enjoyed lunch here two days in a row and highly recommend! My server Abby provided great service.
Dined once at Kabob Garden with my friend. Tried their Kabuli Pilao and Mamtu. Both were delicious and good amount of serving. Would definitely visit again someday!
10/10 for Afghan authenticity !! If you want some really good food and great atmosphere, this is the restaurant to come to. I have been here twice now and my go-to is the Qabli Palao with Lamb shank. Great portion sizes for what you pay. The lamb was extremely tender make sure to also try the Nan and if you’re feeling like trying something a little different..try their “Doogh” - cucumber/mint yogurt drink. Goes great with the meal And on a side note, it was nice to be able to practice my Dari(Farsi) with the server that served our table. She was kind, polite, prompt in service, and even taught me a couple new words!! tashakur
